Lemosho route is the most dramatic and beautiful route up to Kilimanjaro. It is the most remote and getting popularity now days which traverse some of Kilimanjaro most striking and least traveled landscapes, including the base of Kibo Peak’s and dramatic south-facing glaciers. This route has added benefits of trekking across the Shira Plateau a World Heritage Site trekking 180 degrees around Kilimanjaro and also this route allowed plenty of time to acclimatize to the high altitude and this is the key to your safety, comfort, enjoyment and success while trekking mountain Kilimanjaro.

Day One: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to Hotel
- Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you will meet with our Malisenyi Tours representative, and transfer to the hotel under the rate. The hotel will provide all the essentials for a comfortable stay: cozy rooms, hot water, polite staff, a swimming pool, and Internet access. In the evening there will be a briefing with your Kilimanjaro guides, who will also make sure you are ready to begin the climb.

Day Two: Hotel Moshi to Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut
- From the Hotel in Moshi, take a drive to Marangu Gate. Complete the trek gate registrations procedures and the ascend starts. Spot some wild animals inside the rainforest zone on the way to Mandara Hut. The hike will take around 3 to 4 Hours to reach 2700m altitude.

Day Three: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
- Earlier morning, the trek continues from Mandara Hut all the way to Horombo Hut. Hike through the rain forest for first stunning views of Kibo and Mawenzi. The hike will take around 5 to 6 Hours to reach 3720m altitude.

Day Four: Horombo Hut Kibo Hut
- Climb through the alpine desert and cross the saddle between Kibo and Mawenzi peak. Arrive Kibo hut in the evening and have day off resting and gain some energy for the final summit. The hike will take around 5 to 6 Hours to reach 4703m altitude.

Day Five: Relaxation/ Acclimatization Day at Horombo Hut
- Is advised to use this day as an opportunity to adjust your body to the high altitude about 100m AMSL from the campsite and it can help to avoid the headache and other mountain sickness (AMS).

Day Six: Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut
- This is Summit trek, as you wake up around 2300hrs midnight and prepare for summit trek. Leave the campsite to glacial zone cross Gilman’s point and reach the sunrise at Stella point.
- Arrive at Uhuru Peak 5895m the roof-top of Africa. Have time for pictures and a little rest while at the summit. Start descending down to Kibo, repack all gears of you and descend down to Horombo Hut again “pole pole” (slowly slowly).

Day Seven: Horombo Hut to Hotel in Moshi
- Leave Horombo Hut earlier morning and descend to Marangu Gate, get awarded with golden certificates for hikers who reached Uhuru peak and green certificates for Gilman’s point hikers, the drive back to Hotel in Moshi for retreat and other enjoyments.

Day Eight-Nine: Rhino Spotting Wildlife Safari – Mkomazi National Park
- This day will be memorable one, as you woke up early for breakfast and drive all the way from Moshi town to Mkomazi National Park. On the way you will be amazed by the nature and wonders of it. Upon arrival at the park gate, all gate procedures will be finalized and game drive in park will follow. The park is filled with lots of big animals such as Elephants, Giraffe, Zebras, Buffalo and Lions. This park will give you a lifetime experience of spotting Black African Rhino at a very close glimpse. Your game will allow your body to recuperate slowly from the trek.Finish the day there and drive back to Moshi Hotel.

Day Ten: Departure | End of Tour
- Malisenyi Tours will make sure that every penny of time in Kilimanjaro will be thrilled one. On the day of departure, you will take the tour to some places in particular Coffee plantations, Materuni waterfalls, Chemka Hot springs for warm shower or chagga tribe cultural museum and chagga tribe local cuisines. This experience will be done around noon, and will depart all the way to Air Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).

What is the best time to climb Mountain Kilimanjaro?
- You may climb Mt. Kilimanjaro anytime. Though it is important to know that there is best time for perfect weatherly trek. There are two best seasons for amazing treks and they are Early June to October and December to late February. The uniqueness of this seasons is that, the climate is perfect with temperate cold as compared to March to May which is always very cold and rainy.
