Day One: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to Hotel
- Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you will meet with our Malisenyi Tours representative, and transfer to the hotel under the rate. The hotel will provide all the essentials for a comfortable stay: cozy rooms, hot water, polite staff, a swimming pool, and Internet access. In the evening there will be a briefing with your Kilimanjaro guides, who will also make sure you are ready to begin the climb.

Day Two: Hotel to Umbwe Gate to Umbwe Camp
- From the Hotel in Moshi, take a drive to Umbwe Gate. Complete the trek gate registrations procedures and the ascend starts. Start climbing through Umbwe route “pole pole” in the rain forest” while enjoying the nature of the forest and different animals such as blue and colobus monkeys. The path crosses a ridge between two rivers which finally lead to Umbwe Camp 2930m altitude.

Day Three: Umbwe Camp to Barranco Camp
- Early wakeup, breakfast and the start of trekking to Barranco Camp. Trekking for this day will be of a moderate length, and around lunchtime you will reach Barranco Camp (3,960 m), which is nestled inside a huge volcanic fault. Lunch will be provided here, and then you have the opportunity to relax for the rest of the day, which significantly facilitates the acclimatization process.

Day Four: Acclimatization at Barranco Camp
- Have a short day walk while exploring the landscape near the campsite. The day is meant for acclimatization allowing your body getting used to high altitude and lower oxygen levels. Return to the campsite in the afternoon for lunch and rest. Take a rest of the day off gaining energy for the next day.

Day Five: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
- Start a steep climb up till to the top of Barranco wall 4200M. Enjoy and have a short brake for the water and pictures, continue with the trail to reach Karanga hut for hot lunch. Rest and have refreshments while waiting for dinner.

Day Six: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
- Earlier morning, leave the camp and start trek as early as possible to avoid crowds of the other groups. Cross the challenging hike to Karanga Camp, which features numerous ascents and descents during the route, but don't worry, our guides are experts at choosing an optimal pace for the group. After reaching the camp you will be offered warm lunch. After a couple of hours, you will have to complete ascend to Barafu Camp (4,640 m) where you will be served a hot dinner. It is better to spend the remainder of the day resting and sleeping before night summiting.

Day Seven: Barafu Camp to Uhuru peak to Millennium camp
- Departure from Barafu Camp (4,640 m) at night and the start of summiting Kilimanjaro: Uhuru Peak (5,895 m). Technically the climb is relatively simple; however, the most challenging part is the high altitude. Each pair of climbers will get a personal guide for the entire ascent to monitor your physical and mental conditions. After your successful ascent to Uhuru Peak, you can descend to the nearest glacier if desired. Then you will return to Barafu Camp and after a 2-hour rest continue your descent to Millennium Camp (3,820 m).

Day Eight: Millennium Camp to Mweka Gate
- After a hot breakfast, continue hiking through the beautiful rain forest to arrive at Mweka gate. Get awarded with certificates whereby golden certificates are given to hikers who reached Uhuru peak and green certificates for Stella point hikers. Retreat back to Mweka village for a drive to Moshi town for resting or airport for a flight back at home. “Normally tipping can be done to the last campsite or at the certain gate”.

Day Nine: Departure | End of Tour
- Malisenyi Tours will make sure that every penny of time in Kilimanjaro will be thrilled one. On the day of departure, you will take the tour to some places in particular Coffee plantations, Materuni waterfalls, Chemka Hot springs for warm shower or chagga tribe cultural museum and chagga tribe local cuisines. This experience will be done around noon, and will depart all the way to Air Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
